Koyas Hospital was started by Late Dr.Mohammed in the year 1945. In the year 1972 Dr. M.A. Koya the only son of the Late Dr mohommed took over the administration of the hospital. With zeal enthusiasm and professional dedication young Dr Koya developed the hospital in a phased manner over the years adding more and more departments, equipment s and machines to make available modern and more efficient and effective treatment to the patients. He also commissioned the services of specialists in all major areas of medical services and the over the year buildings were extended and new building completed and added to cope up with the increase flow of both the inpatients and outpatients.
