According to a new research it has been proved that cranberry juice can protect against the diabetic risk factors and even heart disease.

A new study has proved that consuming low calorie cranberry juice cocktail can help in reducing the risk of chronic diseases, which is ranked among-st the major reasons of deaths all across the world which also includes heart disease, stroke and diabetes.

The data shows that a rich source of protective compounds is provided by the cranberries, which is known by the name polyphenols, which is a great support for the immune system of our body and moreover it aids us in reaching a very balanced healthy lifestyle which will protect us from many of the major diseases.

From starting till the end the researchers carefully measured and calculated the blood pressure, sugar level in the body, blood lipids along with the C-reactive protein, which is an indication of inflammation stated Christina Khoo the Director of Research Sciences in Ocean Spray.

Khoo further explained that each and every measurement that are calculated can tell you a story. As the probability of these numbers and calculations getting worse increases, it is more likely that the respective person can face a health issue which will later take a form of a disease like heart disease, diabetes or stroke in the coming future.

People who consume at least two glasses of cranberry juice on a daily basis have shown significance difference in the calculations and measures. It is a kind of an alteration , which on adding up can be related to a comparatively lower risk of having a condition like heart disease and much lower risk of having a stroke. It should also be noted that the decrease in the number of blood pressure solely came parallel to those achieved through prominent diets for example DASH.

Khoo also stated that people are lucky to have a rich source of polyphenols is just a mere glass of cranberry juice away. Amongst all the conventionally consumer fruits in our diet on a daily basis, cranberries provide the highest number of polyphenols, significantly more than many other fruits like cherries grapes apples or blueberries
