Ayurveda believes that accumulation of toxins in the body, which is otherwise called as Ama is one of the important factors contributing towards infertility both in men and women. Vamanam is a treatment, which is yet another cleansing method and in this method vomiting is induced to help the body get rid of undigested foods. Kapikacchu or ashwagandha churna is prescribed for infertility treatment for males as both these remedies are known to increase sperm count and also the quality and quantity of sperm. Phala Grita is a remedy prescribed for women to treat functional problems, but this remedy does not cure structural issues. To clear any form of blockages in the body, triphala churna is prescribed for women.
