Jeevan Arogya From LIC - Some Details To Know

Here is the 2-step guide on choosing the Jeevan Arogya policy:

• First, you will have to choose the level of health coverage you need

• The next thing you will have to do is to work out the premium payable along with your representative

First step:

In this step, you can choose the level of initial daily benefit, which means the daily hospital cash benefit applicable in the first year of the policy as per your requirement from the following choices available:

• Rs.1000 per day

• Rs.2000 per day

• Rs.3000 per day

• Rs.4000 per day

This is the amount that you will receive in the case of hospitalization in the first year on a per day basis. In the event of any major surgery, you will get the benefit of 100 times amount of the initial daily benefit that you choose. Therefore, the initial major surgical benefit sum assured will be Rs.1, 2, 3 and 4 lakhs respectively. You can also get other benefits as per your choice.

Second step:

The second step is to work out the premium payable along with the representative of LIC. The premium will rely on your age, gender, health cover option that you choose and whether you are the principal insured and the mode of payment you choose. If you choose the initial daily benefit of Rs.1000 per day and the premium amount will be as follows:

Principal insured (Male):

• Age of entry 20 years – Rs. 1922.65

• 30 years – Rs.2242.90

• 40 years – Rs.2799.70

• 50 years – Rs.3768.90

Spouse (Female)/Mother of insured:

• Age of entry 20 years – Rs. 1393.15

• 30 years – Rs.1730.65

• 40 years – Rs.2240.60

• 50 years – Rs.2849.10


• Age of entry 0 year – Rs. 792.00

• 05 years – Rs.794.75

• 10 years – Rs.812.35

• 15 years – Rs.870.75
