Man is a social animal. His dominance can be seen over other animals, in its own mind. And actually man has the ability to direct nature and its creatures with the help of its extremely developed brain. And for the development of one’s mental power, it is very important to increase the potential of one’s body, in other words it should be healthy. “A sound mind in a sound body” is an often cited saying. If the body is not healthy or if it is ill, the mind can never be healthy. The mortality of the body will result in the death of the mind. So it is obvious that for one’s development physical exercise is very crucial.
In today’s world of competition, students have to work hard to achieve a good position in the future. For that they have to be seated in the classrooms, for extended hours which will automatically results in a variety of bodily defects and their stance becomes defective. They cannot even able to stand or sit properly. Their body begins to look very inelegant. The stiffness of their bodies disappears and gets bended which results in the damage of their vertebrae. So, for students, physical exercise is very crucial. This is the only way to secure one’s wellbeing and remain fit. For the same reason other people such as business men etc must take some physical exercise regularly.
Effectiveness of our country’s people is very stumpy in comparison with the other countries and that’s the reason that our country is poverty-stricken. And if the efficiency is small than the production can never be increased and their prices can never be get lowered. So, if we desire that the manufacture or the production should be amplified and accordingly the supplies should become inexpensive, the health of the employer should be enhanced. This will clear the necessity of physical exercise.
The rate of infant mortality is very high in our country as compared to other countries in the world. Its major reason is the ignorance of parents towards their own health. Nauseous and diseased parents can lead to only weak and dizzy children. So if they want to beget healthy children, they must exercise daily to remain healthy.
Our country has been passing through emergency since its independence. An extremely prevalent enemy, China faces us with all its night. The accountability of conservation of freedom lies on their youths. There is a growing need of young man with vigorous health. Once our Pandit Nehru has said, “Every child of India should have to become a soldier of freedom.” Only healthy people, who are fizzy over with guts and nationalism, can struggle for their own country’s freedom. One can get robust health through daily physical exercise only.
We all know that our government is expending crores and lakhs of rupees for giving good medical facilities to the people. To make our colonial society health and free of diseases our government has been taking very drastic steps. But medical facilities can never solve this crisis alone; it will need the help of public. As it is a well known fact, that the attack of diseases are prone to those people who are not physically fit and have lose their immunity and vitality power. People with good physical health and if even living in poverty region will never fall ill. So the people must do physical exercises regularly to keep their body fit and fine, and immune to the diseases.
From the above we can conclude that , from the social point of view as well as from an individual point of view physical exercise is very crucial. It is the only way to remain fit and maintain a distance from diseases. The development of one’s body is only possible if they are proceeding smoothly with physical exercises. So in our education system also physical exercises must be made as a compulsory subject.
