Autism is one of a group of neurodevelopment disorders. These disorders are otherwise called as Pervasive Developmental Disorders (PDDs). As conventional medicine is not providing the intended remedy, some alternatives like hyperbaric oxygen, chelation therapy and high dose vitamins are suggested for patients. Even though, these treatments are followed, there is not specific proof with respect to the effectiveness of these treatment methods.
