Importance and Benefits of Breast feeding for Babies

First and foremost thing of Breast feeding creates a special bonding between the mother and the baby. Breast Milk is the milk produced by the lactating female. It is one of the most important for child’s growth. So, every mother should feed her child when the child born.

Importance of Breast Feeding:

Mother has to commence feeding as soon as the birth of the child. Breast milk is the complete food for the baby till six months without any other food as it is very essential and a good medicine for the child’s growth which provides special nutrients for the baby. After 6 months, one can gradually decrease the feeding as the alternate food is started giving to the child. After one year, depending upon the situation of the mother and the child, they can leave breast feed as the baby starts eating some other healthy alternate foods.

Many of the childhood diseases will be cured by mother’s milk. There is no need to worry about infection or temperature or freshness.

Benefits of Breast feeding:

· Breast milk contains an ideal balance of nutrients which is easily digested by the babies.

· It contains the essential substance for the development of the babies brain and as well as to function.

· It protects the babies from most of the childhood diseases.

· Do not use feeding bottles while feeding.

Mother’s diet while breast feeding:

· Mother has to take healthy food while feeding to the baby.

· Mother has to eat more fruits and good vegetables as it goes to the baby through feeding. If mother will not take healthy foods, it will immediately effect to the baby and baby become ill as it cannot digest the food taken by mother.

· Mother has to keep herself healthy with water and fruit or vegetable juices.

· This diet helps mother to lose her weight if she gained weight during her pregnancy.

Every mother should give breast feed to their infant as it is very important for the development of the child and cures many childhood diseases and the baby will be healthy if the mother takes the healthy fruits and vegetables and other healthy foods while feeding to the baby.
