One of the spokesmen told the UK Daily along with many others that urine pregnancy test is now being practised to diagnose cancers of testicular as the various elements like protein present in the urine of pregnant women similar to the proteins present in the urine of a person suffering from the testicular infection. It may seem bizarre and unnatural but with some diseases show symptoms that may leave you bafflingly unrelated. Listed below are some of these diseases.

Symptom: Ice Craving

As per studies by French Researchers, which was published in 2005 in the American Journal of Medicine, if you don’t feel the appetite for solid food but are always hungry for ice creams, sand, chalk, stone, etc., it is might possible that you can be anemic. The respective disorder is also known by the name of pica.

Dr Hemant Thacker, an honorary physician in Jaslok hospital, stated that the relation between iron deficiency and craving of ice, chalk, etc. has not yet been established scientifically. He further added, “The symptom goes away when the problem is addressed unless of course there is a delay and pica turns into a habit." Approximately forty-four percent of anaemic have cravings for ice, which can also be accounted for seeking relief from pain in the tongue or swelling.

Symptom: Kleptomania

As per a recent study which was published in JAMA Neurology, the urge to steal is one of the earliest identified signs of a certain kind of dementia which seems to mess with that particular part of the brain that assists you in recognising basic societal rules. You may witness urges to steal anything to everything from groceries to expensive perfumes in a mall. Dr Yusuf Matcheswalla, who is a professor of psychiatry in Grant Government Medical College, explained that “When a person starts developing dementia, the prefrontal cortex region of his brain, which controls social judgment, starts malfunctioning. A healthy person can control his urges, unlike here." He further added that dementia which is an umbrella keyword used to explain the impairment of memory along with communication and thinking. The respective can be prevented through a balanced diet which should include multivitamins, particularly E, B12, and folic acid.

Symptom: Bad Breath

Indicates to: Erectile Dysfunction

You might often wonder and get depressed about that dragon breath and assume that it is an example of poor oral hygiene. On the other hand, this respective condition could be an indication of a liver infection.

As per the National Institute of Health when you suffer from Diabetic Ketoacidosis, the body often fails to break down and utilises glucose as a source of energy. As a result, the body chooses to break down the fat of the body instead. And as a byproduct, the body tends to generate ketones, which is soon followed by the sweet fruity smell of the breath, particularly if the chemicals continue to stock up within the blood and urine. Ketoacidosis which are diabetic can become a dangerous condition if not attended immediately, as these ketones are poisonous in high levels.

Dr Rajan Bhonsle who is a Head of Department (HOD) of Sexual Medicine in KEM Hospital and G.S. Medical College stated that “If the liver is compromised and not functioning optimally, the `free testosterone' level in the blood gets affected, thereby affecting libido and erection. Therefore a bad liver could cause erectile dysfunction, and bad breath could be an indicator of it."

As per various researchers from Southern Illinois University, this could also indicate to the condition of the underactive thyroid gland. Dr Thacker further explained that “The abnormality of the thyroid gland affects temperature centres of the brain. The patient suddenly feels cold or hot despite no change in outside temperature. This may not be an atypical symptom; however, most patients do not bring it to the doctor's immediate notice."
