The issue of obesity has reached great height from the world over and it is a condition, wherein the calorie intake of an individual is very high, as compared to the actual number of calories his/her body burns per day.

Many obese people are of the opinion that skipping breakfast can help them in losing some pounds. But, experts are of the opinion that breakfast is something that should never be skipped. The reason is that when a person skips that important meal of the day, he/she will feel hungry before the lunch and this will lead to unhealthy snacking habit. Also, having healthy breakfast will help in boosting the rate of metabolism, which is important for weight loss. Not just breakfast, but no other meal should be skipped as it can turn the body to starvation mode and can increase the starving for food. On the other hand, portion meals can be followed at regular intervals to keep the metabolic rate at peak level.

Hydration:

People looking for weight loss, should keep themselves hydrated by drinking plenty of water. Some people go for candy, caffeine, colas and sweetened beverages as against water. But, rather than taking these drinks, sugarless tea can be used for hydration. Having green tea can help the body to fight against the effects of aging.
