According to a study conducted in the Florida State, it was found that watermelon can help in lowering the blood pressure due to its vasodilatory effect.

All that is to be done by patients is to grind dried watermelon seeds and poppy seeds in equal quantity and one spoon of this mixture powder should be taken twice daily, once in the morning in empty stomach and again in the evening. Otherwise, two spoons of dried watermelon seeds can be added to boiling water and this water should be strained and consumed at regular intervals all through the day.

3. Garlic:

The blood pressure lowering effect of garlic is proven and the great thing about this spice is that it can lower the blood pressure level, regardless of whether it is in cooked form or raw form. In addition, it can bring down cholesterol levels as well. It can relax the blood vessels by invigorating the production of hydrogen sulfide and nitric oxide. All that should be done is to consume one or two crushed garlic cloves on a daily basis. When crushed, this spice produces hydrogen sulfide and this compound can promote effective blood flow, it can remove gas and it can bring down the pressure on the heart.
