APPLE JUICE: NUTRITION, BENEFITS, RECIPE

Apple juices are of various types like fresh apple juice or canned.

Apple Juice Nutrition: 

They contain various types of vitamins and minerals as mentioned in the Apple nutrition table. They contain naturally occurring sugar fructose. They do not contain cholesterol, Vitamin A, Vitamin C, iron, calcium, protein and dietary fibre.

Apple Juice Benefits: -

  • It keeps hydrated.
  • It can also be used for hair treatments like hair fall, dandruff, split ends, dry hair, etc.
  • Due to its anti-oxidation properties, it prevents itching and wrinkles in the skin.

Apple Juice Health Benefits: -

  • It treats cancer especially lung cancer.
  • It keeps our heart healthy and maintains blood pressure.
  • It decreases the level of obesity.
  • It protects from ageing of the brain.
  • It also protects from various neurological disorders.

Apple Juice Recipe: 

Apple juice can be made by 2 different methods.

  1. Wash the apple under the running water for at least 5 minutes. Apple’s peel has many germs and insecticides.
  2. Take a pan. Cut the apple into the slices Do not forget to remove the seed portion as it contains cyanide. Fill water so as to cover all the apple slices.
  3. Boil it for 20-25 minutes.
  4. Blend it with the help of blender or juicer.
  5. Sieve the mixture and pour it into the glass.
  6. Cool it. Taste it. Add sugar or water according to the taste.
  7. You can add cinnamon or coriander leaves.
  8. Serve the juice.

Above method can be used to preserve the juice for not more than 4-5 days.

Another way is as follows:-

  1. Wash the apple under the running water for at least 5 minutes. Apple’s peel has many germs and insecticides.
  2. Cut it into slices. Don’t forget to take out the seeds as they contain some amount of cyanide.
  3. In the mixer or juicer, put all the slices with water accordingly, sugar or honey and lemon juice.
  4. Mix it. Blend it.
  5. Pour it into the glass with the help of the sieve.
  6. Serve it by decorating it with coriander leaves or pomegranate.
