My father aged 72 has been tested angiogram and known about 80% blockage inside heart and having low heart power(i.e. power of walls are poor). Normal ECG, BP is in moderate range w/o medicine, cronic diabetic taking 32 units of insulin per day. He is not bed ridden but managing with day to day work. Whether open heart surgery in this stage is advisable and after surgery how much probability is there for his better condition and what will be approximate expenditure for this.
