Early diagnosis is important: It is generally stated by the best cancer hospitals in Bangalore and specialists that when cancer is diagnosed early, the treatment will become easier as compared to late diagnosis. When the disease is diagnosed early, it might not have spread to other parts and the multiplication of cancer cells in the body would be minimal in the initial stages of the disease. This disease is generally divided into 0-4 stages. The initial stage is called as stage 0, which is referred to as situ cancer, while the stage 1 is referred to as localized cancer. But, when it comes to stage 2, further spread in the localized area happens. In the case of stage 3 patients, the disease would have spread to the lymph nodes, while in the case of stage 4 it would have spread to distant parts. This is why to ensure early identification, regular health check up is recommended.

My daughter is detected with rectum cancer stage 3. she underwent surgery and was done low anterior resection. The resection is very low that the doctor could not do the stapler method and some how managed to connect it with anostomy. Loop colostomy was done till such time she underwent chemo and radio therapies. Now the loop colostomy is closed and anastomy is done. It is since 10 months. Now her bowel movements are so frequent (approximately 10 times a day). Though she is free of cancer this irregular bowel movement troubles her a lot. Is there any chance of improvement in this. Please suggest. She is 35 years old
