RECIPE OF CABBAGE JUICE, SALAD, SOUP, CHUTNEY, RAITA

Cabbage Curry Recipes

Ingredients

  • one tsp oil or as per requirement
  • half tsp jeera/cumin
  • quarter to half tsp mustard
  • Ginger garlic paste
  • Sliced/Chopped onion and tomato
  • salt as per requirement
  • turmeric
  • chilli powder
  • garam masala or sambar masala powder as per requirement
  • quarter cup green peas or chana dal (cooked) as per requirement
  • 2-3 bowl chopped cabbage
  • coriander leaves finely chopped

Preparation

  • Soak the chopped cabbage in salted water for sometimes.
  • Drain the water after some time and kept it aside.
  • Take a pan and add oil till it turns hot, add mustard and cumin, add garlic ginger when mustard begins to sizzle. Fry it till it turns aromatic.
  • Add sliced onions till becoming transparent. Then add tomatoes till it turns smashed and soft. Add spices powders and fry them for a minute so that its raw smell can finish.
  • Add peas and mix them for a minute.
  • Add chopped cabbage and mix them well so that all the spices coat the cabbage nicely. Fry it for 2-3 minutes
  • Cover it for sometimes and cook them well.
  • Garnish with coriander leaves
  • Serve the recipe with roti or rice.

Cabbage Veg balls

Ingredients

  • Chopped cabbage(whatever amount you want)
  • 1 medium Carrot(Grated)
  • finely chopped french beans
  • Grated/Minced Capsicum
  • finely chopped spring onion
  • corn flour(3 tsp)
  • plain flour/Maida (as per requirement)
  • Bread crumbs
  • Crushed pepper
  • Ginger garlic paste
  • salt to taste and oil as per requirement
  • Manchurian Sauce
  • oil(one and half tsp)
  • Finely chopped garlic (3/4 tsp)
  • Finely chopped Ginger(1/2 tsp)
  • Finally chopped capsicum/bell pepper(1/4)
  • Soya sauce(1 tsp)
  • red chilli sauce(2 tsp)
  • Vinegar or tomato ketchup(as needed)
  • corn starch powder
  • salt to taste
  • sugar(1-half tsp)
  • crushed pepper

Preparation of Veg Balls

  • Mix vegetables, plain flour, corn flour, pepper and salt, ginger garlic paste in a bowl. You can add breadcrumbs to make the ball crispier
  • On a medium flame fry these balls. Do not disturb the balls when inserted in the pan because they can break in the pan if you have not used bread crumbs.
  • When you feel that they can be touched, fry them accordingly until they turn golden
  • To eliminate extra oil drain them by using tissues or newspapers.

Gobhi Manchurian recipe

Preparation:

  • Pour oil in a pan and add ginger garlic when it becomes hot.
  • Add capsicum and spring onion to the pan and fry them on high flame without burning.
  • During the period dissolve corn flour in water and set them aside.
  • In medium flame add red chilli paste, red chilli sauce and soya sauce.
  • Mix the corn flour, Pour it into the pan.
  • Mix gently and pour water. Stir and taste the mixture.
  • Add salt, sugar, pepper, vinegar as per your requirement. The sauce should be hot, sweet and sour in taste.
  • Keep mixing and cook the sauce in medium flames until the sauce thickens. The sauce will thicken automatically after it is cooled
  • Allow the sauce to cool. Do not put the balls when it is hot as it may become soft and lose its crispiness.
  • Add the veg balls just before serving.
  • Serve the veg Manchurian with noodles and veg fried rice.
